Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd. (Mumbai), a leading producer of coal tar chemicals and carbon black, recently introduced Terrablack, a new line of recovered carbon black products. The Terrablack line, which was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Show's India International Tire Exhibition held in New Delhi, includes two grades: Terrablack 3310, for tread applications, and Terrablack 6615, for carcass applications (sidewalls, hoses, belts). To support the product line, Epsilon is building a fully integrated tire recycling plant in Karnataka, India, to be operational in FY 2026. The plant will have capacity to process 30 KT of ELT annually, producing 9,500 tons/year of recovered carbon black and 12,000 tons/year of tire derived oil.
